I feel decently embarrassed as I don't know the maker. Shinpou means "belief" or "faith" however. My instructor gave me that sword before he moved away years ago. It was over a tea ceremony, and he presented me the sword.

Actually, I am quite bardic, and when I was a steady member I was into light weapons fighting- dual rapiers. However, I haven't fought in that style in quite some time. I actually was a student of Kendo for 6 years- iaijutsu being my chosen specialty, as my instructor grew up in Japan and was taught by the Royal Japanese Army... Very strict, but it, plus the other martial arts I have taken, keep me very interested in the Asian culture... As for your typing, mine is only decent because I have my English degree *grin* so no worries.

Yes I am a squire. the area is idaho,montana and part of washington i belive,I fight in a style the japanese call Eshin ryu...with two swords.But i also fight with a naginata,sword and board,and ten foot yari.It is a great releash of tension. do you fight? or are you in to other areas bardic, archery, A and S. please forgive my typing skill or lack there of!
